I turn around from changing Lucas's diaper and find this.

He's such a sweet boy. Thanks Aunt J for the books. He happily entertains himself. This is all way to easy. I'm just waiting for the other foot to drop or the day to come when he becomes a handful. Occasionally he'll have a screaming fit but I know it's only cuz he's frustrated with not being able to communicate. He knows a few signs. Maybe it'll get harder once Lucas starts to crawl or Little B starts potty training. Until then we're are enjoying it while we can.

Another nice day at the park. There are not very many of these cuz it's either pouring down rain or too hot and humid. We found a new park. It was a really good one. I only wish that it was closer to the house.
Lil B kissed Normandy on the cheek. I wasn't fast enough to catch it on camera. You can tell by the look on her face that she was a bit stunned. Last time she tried to kiss him and he pushed her away. So okay this is it. No more kissing until your 20 something and home from your mission. Lucas is snoozing away in the stroller behind B.

Lucas has discovered his tongue. He's telling us all about his new discovery. You can click the pause button on the playlist down at the bottom.

Monday Monday.. So good to me...

Our Monday went pretty well. Lucas turned 3 months and Sadie went home. She was such a good dog. The only challenge was keeping little Brian out of her dog pen. Sadie didn't seem to mind but still that was her place. We just let him be in there long enough for a quick pic. Sadie will be missed. I can't wait to hear about Kristy and Jerry's trip to Utah. Kristy was there a whole month so I'm sure that she got lots of stories.

Lucas is at an entertaining stage where he babbles, coos, and waves his arms around. He still turns down binkys but cant get enough of his fingers and thumbs. He thinks its the greatest thing on earth.

groovin and movin with Dad

Last night Dad and Lucas broke out in dance.

I can't get over how cute Lucas is with all of his expressions. From being bashful to surprised to just giddy. We love watching and listening to him. He brings pure joy to our family.

Happy New Year

We celebrated our New Years with the Kremers and the Carraways. The man in the picture was the man that made the evening possible and hosted an awesome fireworks show. He's such a sweet Grandpa. He kept on eye on Ammon while Mom and Dad were outside in the bottle rocket war.
Stacy as she lights her bottle rocket. I stayed inside with the boys. Big Brian had a great time outside. He said that the guys were a lot sneakier this year.
Annes family came down from South Carolina bringing the group # to around 30 something. It was so fun. For dinner we had grilled hot dogs and chips with dip. It was very yummy.
We left the New Years festivities after we watched the guy flip his truck on TV. We made it home and the boys in bed in time to watch the ball drop.

Little Brian has a good time playing with the massive amount of toys.

Gearing up for the bottle rocket war.

As you can see it's really cold out but it was a perfect night for fireworks.

Little Brian loved the fireworks . He oooooed and clapped.

I was in and out of the house with Lucas during the fireworks. He didn't feel to well with a sore bum and a tummy full of air bubbles. Rachel saved the day with some bum cream so things went smoother from then on.
