cars lots of cars

Little Brian has a fascination with cars. His favorite is a hot wheel one that was given to him in a stocking from a Primary Activity. He carries it everywhere. He's holding it the video clip with Grandma. His car collection is growing. He does the sounds and everything.
I realize the fire truck is not a car but it falls under the wheels catagory so it counts.

Thank You Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Danny!

We've been so blessed to have most of Brian's family come for Christmas. My heart is full when those we love are so close. Lara who couldn't be with us sent the boys matching pajamas. It was very thoughtful of her. Grandma, Grandpa, and Danny are flying home today and wish that they could stay longer. We had a fun filled week. We ate, played, quilted, baked, built forts, slept, raced cars, played Mario Party, shopped, climbed, blew bubbles, and laughed. I'm forever grateful that they were here to celebrate the Saviors birth with us. It truly was a Merry Christmas for us never to be forgotten.

At the playground with Grandma and the Copas Girls

We met up at the park with the Copases. It was a gorgeous day. Grandma did an amazing job keeping up with Little Brian. He was all over the place with lots of energy. Lucas slept in his carseat the whole time.

2nd Annual Christmas Paintball Game

We stopped by to check in on the guys before heading to the park to play. We got there and they were taking a break. My Father in Law definetly got it the worst in the end. That is him ducking behind a tree. Danny wasn't to bad. Brian got pretty lucky cuz he hardly had anything to show for it.

My Holiday baking this year was cranberry pumpkin bread and Harvest upside down peach cake.

Grandma kept pretty busy. She made sure I always had a clean kitchen and that she had happy grandchildren. She was very patient in teaching me to quilt.

Christmas Day continued

While the boys played with cars and Wii paintball I learned how to do my Cricut cutting system that Brian bought me.

The boys Christmas stockings are picked out and given by Grandpa.

We watched the movie The Christmas Card that Jerry and Kristy gave us.

We finished off the Christmas day by playing the game Yahtzee Free for All. It was my gift from Danny. I've never played Yahtzee and won the game. Mom won the 2nd game.

Christmas MorningI forgot to take pictures of opening gifts cuz I was videotaping it.

Danny played with Little Brian while Mom made her famous buscuits and gravy for breakfast. After breakfast Brian read Luke 2. We opened gifts. Lots of cars and books.

After opening gifts the boys played Brian's gift from Lara and Jim. They got him the Wii Paintball.

Lucas slept thru everything.

The firetruck was from Grandpa Mitchell
For desert we had cherry pie and peach upside down cake with vanilla icecream. It was a new recipe that I got in our Christmas card from Vicki and Joe.
