Some more pictures of our 30 minutes of soaking in the Spring time air. Have you ever seen a dog climb a tree? Little Brian wasn't a fan of climbing and just wanted down. Anakin was a much better sport.

Flori just brought by some homemade chicken soup that would put any canned soup to shame. I'm not a fan of chicken soup but this stuff is amazing. Flori's husband Louchi was talking about the chicken soup at our last get together. He said that in Romania they make soups all the time and the ingredients here are blah and bland compared to the ingredients over there. The chickens over there are not as fat and more lean. I'm off to go have my 2nd helping. I can't wait to get healthy so I can go ask her how she did it.
I'm 30 weeks now so once I'm feeling better I'll post pictures.

I hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day. The Saturday before I spent the day coughing and instead of taking it easy I wanted to give myself a clean and spotless bedroom. Later that evening I thought I'd crawl up and die and it would take a miracle for me to be able to attend my church meetings the next day. The room is nearly finished. It just takes forever with the water/rest breaks in between. Sunday morning was bright and sunshiny on the outside. Brian let me sleep in. I of course woke up at 6am and eventually went back to sleep. Even with the coughing, congestion, runny nose, and sneezing I had a real nice Mother's Day. The boys gave me a nice card, and the Christ statue that I wanted (I linked the website under Brian's favorites list). Lovely Brenda dropped off a pot of flowers that they passed out to all the Moms at church. I can't wait to plant them and I hope that they survive. Brian and the boys made me a nice dinner. I had to laugh when Brian didn't know what he was making and tossing ingredients into a casserole dish. It wasn't bad. It was a hashbrown, yellow pepper, garlic, ground beef dish. He made plenty so dinner tomorrow is taken care of. My Mom sent me a nice fwd about Mothers that I'll have to share if I can.
The weather was beautiful today and so we sat out for 30 minutes in the backyard to take in the fresh air. Lil B was entertained by a shovel and the mound of dirt where a tree used to be. Lucas was determined to pull roots out of the ground. I should have taken a picture of my belly since I'm a mother of 3. He's an active lil guy. He loves to move except when Dad's hand is close by. We are still working on a name. Brian and the boys made it a very nice and restful Mother's Day. I've got it so good.

We were invited over for a Birthday party. After eating pizza and cake the boys played and played. Flori's husband teaches piano and guitar so it was nice that they had a little piano in the house for Lucas to play with.

I love this time of year when the strawberries are ready to be picked. This year we went with our neighbor Flori and her son from up the street. He just turned 4 and Little Brian loves having a buddy that shares his passion of cars and trains. Flori is so sweet. Lucas loves her and she loves carrying him around. We went walking at the park and she carried him the whole way. Flori is working on her English and does really well considering that she's only been in the states for 2 years. I was amazed at the amount of strawberries that she could fit into our buckets. We for sure got our moneys worth thanks to her. It was pretty muddy out but we had a good time. Lucas enjoyed playing in the mud the most. Later that night I froze the strawberries and tonight served them up with angel food cake and cool whip as a refreshment for our RS activity. We had a lesson on gardening so I hope to grow my own strawberries someday.

This one group of 3 made the crowd nervous when the one guy dropped his fire torch lighting the other guys rear end on fire. I had to ask Brian "Was that an accident?" "Yes" replied Brian.
We didn't get the famous chicken leg but Brian got the sausage on a stick and I shared a huge hotdog known as the kings wienie with the boys.

Brian thought that the mini marshmallow launchers/catapults were awesome.

The jousting was when it started to rain. It was a light rain so we stayed around. It was pretty much overcast all day but it was nice cuz it kept things cooled off. The guys are enjoying beef jerky while watching our Knight Max a Million.

One of the shows we watched was an a Scottish rock group that was pretty cool. It was bagpipes and drums. They made paticular mention that the belly dancer was a college graduate.

Georgia's Renaisance Festival

There are a ton more pictures but I'm having problems downloading. We took the boys to the Ren Festival to see the jugglers and the knights. We met a few fairies and the boys talked to Mother and Father Goose. The boys were more into playing with the dirt and rocks than the shows. Although I'd say that Lil B's favorite was the jousting. I'll try again with the picture downloads. We didn't get them swords this year due to the fact that they were made of wood and could cause some major damage.

Yay for trampolines. Little Brian was hesitant at first but once everyone else (not Lucas) was up there he got brave. Not sure how much longer the nice weather is going to last before it gets to hot. Until then we'll just let Lil B jump.

I love my new camera. I just need to learn how to crop and resize and stuff. For some reason I'm not able to rotate pictures. We've had to restart my computer due to a virus. Thankfully the virus is gone but there is at least 2 years of computer updates to catch up on. The Canon T2i is a very long awaited gift from my hubby. He told me to go and get it but I was the one that kept putting it off waiting for a good deal to come along. There is a lot to learn with this camera and as of right now it's set to Auto Focus. So bear with me as I try and catch up on the last couple of weeks of pictures. I still love my skinny little Sony and will use that when necessary.
