Lazy mornings are nice.

Brian studying the Toys R Us Christmas catalog.

Pizza Night at the Costello's Casa

Aunt Lara's tradition of baking homemade pizzas with her nephews continues. The boys kept asking for more pepperoni and sneaking handfuls of mozzarella cheese. Aunt Lara had Thursday off so she let us come up and spend the night. I thought the picture of Hannah and Lucy watching and waiting for dropped food was cute. We've just been busy busy. There's visits to the parks and library. Not so many pictures of those cuz my hands are usually holding Jacob. It feels good to be caught up on pictures.

We love visiting with Aunt Lara. She stopped by with a gigantic package from Uncle Danny. Those pictures I have on my phone and need to figure out how to blog them. Pictured in the background is my yard sale goodies I found earlier that morning. Inside the box from Uncle Danny was cars cars and more cars. There were Hotwheel tracks, a blow up punching bag, cars puzzles and games. They boys loved it and we appreciate Uncle Danny's thoughtfulness and generosity.

We miss and love you Daddy!!
Love, Your Family

Aunt Lara spoiled us this year at Halloween. She picked pumpkins for the boys and they got to choose which ones they wanted. They were huge pumpkins and the boys and I had a blast.

Halloween Fun

Aunt Lara and Uncle Jim took the boys to the city of Upland where I grew up to go Trick or Treating. These guys did awesome and were such good sports. I guess the car costumes were not the easiest costumes to take out and after a few houses Lucas was done hauling that thing around. One house in paticular had thing popping out and Lil B freaked. Super Auntie came to his rescue and swooped him up. I'm glad that they had a good time. I stayed home and made white chocolate candy corn cookies. They were a complete mess because the melted candy corn kept sticking to the pan. They still tasted really good though.

The boys at the church's trunk or treat. I was such a proud Mom when they both won the bean bag toss into the Jackolantern game. It was a fun evening.

I'm so glad we dragged Grandma out. Halloween is her least favorite. Grandpa is on the activities committee so it was great to have them both there. The decor was provided by my Sis In Law. She's the best.

and finally this is me and my lil bag of popcorn. We danced the night away at Lara's Halloween party. The numbers on the bottom of the ticket is the date of the party and year and how old I am. It was a fun party.

Going back to Cali till the end of December

We did it!! We are here in Cali. We drove straight through setting a new time record. I'm happy to be back and blogging thanks to my wonderful Sister in Law. There is so much to catch up on. Halloween was awesome. Cali is awesome. I miss my Honey and my doggies and my Alabama family but I'm loving it here and the time is flying by. The trip was good. Now that I know we can do it we won't be doing it again anytime soon.
Pictured is.. Brian engrossed in a movie. We watched Cars (twice in one day) Alladin (Uncle Danny's favorite) and a Mickey's Christmas. I discovered many things on our road trip including Lucas's love for pretzels and my love for convenient pockets behind the seats. So on with more pictures.

I couldn't be anymore happier when Stacy Thomas said that she'd do our 2010 family pictures for us. She is so good and I'm always so pleased on how they turn out. She never disappoints. It was a treat to have her family there. They were a huge help with the boys. We hope that Stacy keeps the tradition going and take our family picture next year.

This is my new favorite candy bar. The only bad news is that you have to go all the way to Romania to find it. How I wish they sold it in the states. If they did I'd be in trouble cuz I'd be 5 pounds heavier. It's chocolate and white chocolate - (I think) all layered on a cookie. Mmmm. So yum.

If your thinking why so many pictures of Jacob and not so many of his brothers? Well it's cuz the camera comes out after things have slowed down which means the two oldest are in bed. Meanwhile Jacob is usually up after sleeping all day and hanging out with me while waiting for Dad to come home. I try and go to bed before Brian gets home but I can't seem to fall asleep until I know he's home. There will be more pictures soon cuz Grandma and Grandpa Mitchell will be here next week and Lucas will be turning 2

The boys were invited to a Star wars themed birthday party and were way excited that they'd get to go slip n sliding for the first time ever. It was the best day ever because there was cake and hot dogs to top it off. Jacob was held by the Birthday boy who is hoping for a little brother or sister. Maybe his Birthday wish will come true. We'll see.

Baby Jacob

I wanted to post an update about Lucas but his picture disappeared. I'll have to try again later.
Jacob is growing and growing. Everyone loves a half naked baby so I had to throw that one in. Jacob coos and grunts. His next dr's appointment is on the 20th so I'm dying to find out his weight, that way I can figure out what size diapers he is supposed to be in. The size one leaks after such a short amount of time. Pictured is size 2 and looks huge on him. I'd take the size 2 over changing the wet onesies anyday. Grandma Mitchell sent him a white blanket for his blessing so I'll post pictures of that soon. He is still sleeping a ton. His eyes are a blueish slate color. It's so fun to watch him and all of his facial expressions. I have to keep a close eye on his brothers or they'll smother him. He's such a good baby. We are so lucky to have him be in good health. We are counting our blessings everyday.

Computer time and Little Brian.

Computer time. The boys love playing on the computer. They look at pictures and point out who is who and what is what. Little Brian checks out the StarFall website and works on his letters.

Little Brian is such a sweet boy. The potty training process at the moment has been unsuccessful. I wanna pull my hair out. Two accidents in two days. argh. I'm trying to use a trip to see Mickey Mouse as motivation to get potty trained. The boys have been wearing their mickey ears from our 2009 trip. Hopefully the motivation works and no more pull ups. Brian is a great older brother. He tries to help teach Lucas how to get dressed and loves going outside. He is so fun and so smart.

Dad gave the two older boys haircuts. I didn't get a very good before shot since I had no notice ahead of time. Lucas watched his older brother go first so he knew what was coming. Dad explained to him what was happening and Lucas was a great sport. There were no tears, no need to tie him down, and no wiggling. I'm kinda sad cuz his cute baby locks are gone.

Monday Brian took the day off of work to check out Falling Waters State Park. We've never been and it was pretty neat. It was great to have our friend Jerry and my Sister there. It was a nice park and we'll have to go back and do a BBQ/picnic.
We knew that they had a lake but it didn't look inviting so after seeing the water fall, walking the trails, and played on the playground we headed down to Panama City to get some lunch.
We ate at Margaritaville (it's our 2nd time but their first) and did some window shopping.

Last Sunday was Jacob's baby blessing. From what I heard Brian did a wonderful job. It was hard to hear over Lucas cuz he was a bit wiggly.
I know I heard more than Jennette did. We are grateful to everyone that participated in Jacob's special day.
