Easter Fun Mail!!!

Hooray for fun mail!!!
Our sweet Little Brian received a package from the Easter Bunny. AKA Grandma & Grandpa Mitchell. It was packed full of fun stuff. I wish Grandma and Grandpa could've seen his face as he rocked back and forth and grunted in excitement. I'll take more pictures of him playing with his goodies. Included in his package was...

-his first Easter Basket which happens to be personalized with his name on it. It was filled with colorful plastic eggs with alphabet blocks inside. So awesome.

-4 cardboard animal books. We absolutely love books and look forward to reading them together.

- A hilarious fish with a worm toy. (this is the first thing that caught my eye when we opened the box). I cracked up laughing because you when pull the green worm from the fish's mouth the tail clicks from side to side. I just might have to take a picture of it.

- An alphabet block set.

- A "My First Easter" outfit. Adorable. Grandma Mitchell also sent a "My first St. Patricks Day" outfit. It's sitting in the dirty laundry cuz it was to cute to wait till St. Patty's. I'll be sure that it's clean and ready to wear on St Patricks Day when we have our lady friends come over. I did try and take pictures but Little B wasn't happy cuz his teeth were bothering him. I'll try again and post soon.

- A soft floppy blue bunny. We've been enjoying him cuz he's floppy and he's brought a smile to Brian's face.

-To top off the Easter package was a very thoughtful card from Grandma and Grandpa Mitchell. They have not missed a Holiday yet. We enjoy going to the mail box and opening the cards together.

Brian and I were not forgotten. We were included in on the fun. In the package was yummy Girl Scout Cookies. Thin Mints for Brian and Samoas for me. Yumm. Thank You Grandma Mitchell!!! We appreciate your love and generosity.
Little Brian now has his own Easter Basket for the Primary Easter egg hunt this Saturday. You'll have to stop by here Sunday to see Saturday's pictures posted.

The dogs and Brian

My neighbor asked me yesterday how Obi-wan and Padamae acted around Little Brian. I took these awhile back.

This was back when Brian learned that he could roar. He would roar in delight at the dogs.
Padamae is very affectionate and lets Brian crawl all over her. Obiwan on the other hand tolerates it but mostly gets up and leaves.

Play Dates

Play Dates are wonderful. Every once in awhile my dear friend Ashley gets everyone together to have a playdate. The one with Brian swimming was done at Natalies house and Brian went in the pool for the first time.

The top right one (with the ball) was during Thanksgiving time and Brian sat up by himself for the first time. We made turkeys out of sweet potatoes. The last 3 pictures are the most recent when Ashley had a valentines play date. Brian had a great time in the outdoor swing and (yes you guessed it ...for his first time) He didn't participate in the cookie decorating but he did have a great time passing out Valentines with fruit snacks attached. Pictured above is Jen Cazier and her daughter Sariah. The girls had a blast playing outside and decorating cookies. Ashley had goody bags for the girls to take home and makes sure everyone always has a good time.

Our Little Cupid

We had a good time making our Valentines. Little Brian couldn't find his bow and arrow but he's still our cute little matchmaker.

The sweetest moments are spent with family

This is the last post from our Cali trip. I promise. I don't want this is make me homesick so I'll post quickly.

Grandma and Grandpa Anderson dropping us off at the airport. I'll miss you.

Surrounded by people we love

Our good friend Brandon (Aunt Lynn's son) and his girlfriend. He came to play paintball with us. It was so fun.
Aunt Lynn and Archie. This is the most adventurous fun couple I know. They never cease to amaze me.

The Riners. Brian's neighbors growing up. Sweet couple.
Brian visited Grandma Mitchell at work. He made so many new friends. It was great to see Valane sp? again. She is such a cool lady. She is not looking forward to Grandma Mitchell's retirement.

The angels that work in the same program with Mom. In the center is my Mom's aide Bertha. She is a very compassionate thoughtful lady. Mom finally broke the retirement news to the ladies.

Friends in Cali

It was so much fun meeting up with friends and introducing Little B to them. I only wish that I could see them more often. Thankfully we have luxuries such as the Internet and cell phones so we can keep in touch.
