In the Arms of his Love

Have you ever seen a piece of art that brought tears to your eyes? This is a statue of Christ embracing a little boy. I found it on the blog of a lady that had lost her son. Her friends had given it to her as a gift and she was pouring out her heartfelt thanks. I saw it and immediately was touched. It reminded me of my calling as a Mother and how my boys are precious gifts that have been entrusted to my care by a loving Heavenly Father.

Our little gamer.

Dad is teaching Little B the ropes when it comes to World of Warcraft. He's going to turn him into a gamer. I'm okay with it as long as he doesn't get carried away and Little B still gets plenty of outdoor exercise.

Landmark park revisited.

Saturday was a windy but gorgeous Spring day. Little Brian's favorite part was seeing the animals. Lucas's favorite part was the swings.
Lucas tried to keep up with his older brother. They had a great time.

It was a fantastic Friday night with our friends the Murrays. The pictures are posted backwards. We finished off the night with a new game called Wits and Wagers. It was so fun. I did a chocolate carmel and toffee trifle for dessert. The munchies were guacamole with scoops and a dill pickle dip that you serve with Nacho cheese Doritos. It was all very good.

Sara got a Wii for her Birthday so we brought over Wii Play. The kids loved it.

Then it was the boys turn with a little help from the Dads.

Lucas was putting on the charm with Kasia. She is so sweet. One of these days she'll let me hold her. I hope.

We started our get together with a yummy barbecue chicken dinner with funeral potatoes, fruit salad, and rolls. The game we played later that night we can have up to 20 people. We hope to get a group together and play again soon.

technical difficulties.

I'm so bummed. The battery charger cord to the laptop got stuck in the couch recliner one to many times. It'll have to be replaced. Hopefully we'll find an easy replacement soon. This will explain the lack of posts on the blog. I didn't want you guys to think we fell off the face of the earth.

It's a...

It's a Boy!!
I've learned that you can have different symptoms but with the same result. We are thrilled that Baby #3 is a boy. I'm not yelling. I don't know why the font size is so big. I'm shocked it wasn't a girl but I'm kinda relieved cuz a girl would have been so new and different to me.
After the Ultrasound Brian and I go to wait for the Dr. Some of the first things that were talked about were Boy Scouts and boy names. Boy scouts was huge influence in Brian's life growing up. It'll be a huge part of our lives. That and mission/college financial planning and food prepping. Our only picky eater so far is Lil B but Lucas still chows down.
I'm going to work hard on finding this lil guy's name. I still have my favorites from the first two but Big B was dead set against them. His only response was that it'll get the boy beat up. This will be my first and last chance to pick the name so I'm going to pick it. Although B said I came up with Lucas. It's all a blur really. We are happy that he's healthy and the due date is still the 20th of July.
