Downtown Riverside with Jennette

We went to Down town Riverside to check out the lights at Mission Inn with my Sister Jennette.
We checked out the reindeer, watched taffy being pulled, and ice skaters skate. There was mannequins dressed as carolers and Little Brian was a bit freaked out by them.
Mission Inn is where we had my HS Senior Prom. Crazy to think that Brian was almost part of our group but something came up and he couldn't go. It's alright cuz he asked me to his Senior Prom and I had an even better time.

I love this picture because of the orange tree decked out in Christmas lights. So cool. So Californian.

Toys and fun times

Brian's Dad has told stories about the game "Slap Stick" Thanks to the powers of ebay he was able to track two down and was able to put one together. Dad was floored when he saw it.

Uncle Jim has the boys cracking laughing like crazy.

Brian and Lara were having a lightsaber battle using their droid phones.

The boys got Tonka remote control cars that flip over from Aunt Lara and Uncle Jim. Pretty awesome

Mitchell/Costello Christmas

Danny wasnt able to join us this year but he was there in heart. He gave Brian a Star Wars robe and me a 6 month membership to Netflix. I love movies so it was perfect. Lara gave me a printed version of my blog in a beautiful hardback book. I love it. The boys were opening gifts nonstop. They were in Heaven. It was a treat to have Aunt Lynn and Archie join us later for dinner. I could listen to Aunt Lynn all day cuz she is a very funny woman and knows some great stories.
It really was a fantastic day spent with family.

File Folder Freebee

I need to redownload my pictures so I can finish catching up from the Holidays. In the meantime Greenjellowithcarrots.blogspot.com is giving away free file folder games if I mention it on my blog. They got some cute stuff. I have my eye on the Dress up Boy and Dress up Boy Make Believe. I picked these 2 because I want the boys to know that we dress differently from every other day and in our best at Church and plus the my guys will get a kick out of the make believe outfits. Anything to help keep the boys reverent during church is good with me.

Mitchell/Anderson Christmas

Big Brian made buscuits and gravy. Santa brought the boys Pixar Cars scooters.
Lucas loved his scooter so much that he wasn't interested in seeing what was in his stocking.

and the Tradition continues..

Big Brian has his own way of decorating cookies. He takes a blob of cookie dough mashes a handful of sprinkles and then form it into a doughnut.

Thank Heaven for Grandmas

Grandma Anderson getting some floor time in. She would work with Jacob on rolling over and his exercises.

Grandma Mitchell playing Santa.

Grandma Anderson
and her kitchen assistants. The boys love being in the kitchen whether it's baking or emptying the dishwasher. One of the projects while I was out there was getting aprons. Joann's had some cute fabric so one side is Christmas and the other side is universal kitchen theme. Maybe one day Joann's will come to Dothan.
