Since the weather has been so nice I've been trying to get out as much as I can with the boys. The pollen has kicked into high gear but that hasn't stopped us from getting out and having fun. I know the first 6 weeks that Baby girl is here I'll be inside focusing on nursing. Luckily Grandma Anderson will be here to get the boys out and keep them busy. With the month of April comes lots of fun Easter activities and play dates. This one we met up with the Hansen family and rode bikes around the block, played at the park, had ice cream, and finished off in the backyard. I'm so grateful for good friends that make these last few weeks of pregnancy so much more bearable.

Victoria and Vilma had a fantastic St Patty's Day playdate. We made a leprechaun scrapbook page, decorated masks and ate yummy food.

Victoria hosted a Mardi Gras playdate/ Thirty and One party at her place. Lil Brian was in preschool so it was the perfect opportunity to spend some one on one time with Lucas. Attending one of Victoria's playdates is always a treat.

Lucas loved beading his necklace and the King cake.
We decorated masks and ate delicious gumbo and jambalaya.
We had a great time. Thanks V!

This is a sneak peak of some of the pictures Stacy Thomas took of our Valentines dinner.
I was hoping to post more but blogger said that the images were to big. Once I try and make them smaller I'll get them up. Her pictures turned out perfect from that amazing night. I wish you could see more.

Brian and one of the many kisses that night.

Some February love.

How adorable is this?. It's a Valentine cake decorating kit that was made by my sweet friend Victoria. She brought it when they came to dinner. It's way too cute to take apart. This girl has ubber loads of talent.

Lil Brian had his first Valentines Day party at Preschool. He picked Captain America  valentines and we stuck a sucker with it just to add a little extra sweetness to it.

Brian did super in writing out his name.

The boys got a little valentine treat from Dad and I.
It was a nice Valentine's Day. We did a date night swap with some friends of ours. My gift to Brian was taking him to see the Stars Wars 3D movie. It was nice since there were scenes that I haven't seen before and I couldn't help but tear up cuz they went more into depth with the relationship of Anakin and his Mom.

Boys 1st time bowling

Saturday we were invited to a 5 yr olds Birthday party at a bowling alley. Lil Brian and Lucas were so excited. They did really great.

Jacob enjoying the noise maker. The bruise on his forehead was  from earlier that morning.
It was good having Dad there to get them started. The party was fun. I don't know how the Mom did it with there being 27 kids at the party. Wowza- but she stayed calm and everything went well.

Being a fan of Jello and the Month of Love.

Jacob is a huge fan of Jello. He likes it everywhere.

I'm a huge fan of February. I love the weather, valentines, the sweets, etc.
I could not wait to get the month started so I threw a small couples dinner party on the last Saturday of January.   It was Brian and I and two other couples. Sadly the unfrosted cake was the only picture to show for the fabulous night.  I'm happy that my friend Stacy caught a few sweet photos of the night so I hope to post those later.   Dinner was delish and the company amazing. The night was even more special since our friends Victoria and Jonathan became newly engaged just a few hours earlier. Very excited about their wedding set for the 27th of April 2013.  To celebrate our love and friendship the ladies were going to have friendship bracelets as placecards and I didn't think the guys would care for the bracelets so they got a pair of socks (since they were such a cute couple/pair) I didn't get the table set in time so bracelets/name cards didn't get there in time but they were appreciated. The ladies also got some bling for the night which were conversation hearts attached to rings. After dinner we got jumped right into the games. There were 3 different ones. The first one was "Don't steal my Heart" which everyone had chopsticks and tried to get as many conversation hearts out of the bowl in the center of the table. I was really impressed with Brian's chopsticks skills since he won the majority of the rounds.  The 2nd game we sat on the ground and worked in couples. We used a  butter knife to unwrap as many Hershey kisses as we could while wearing  socks on our hands.  Victoria and Jonathan won that game and their prize were twix candy bars cuz as we know the candy bars come in a set of 2. The last game of the night was called "Tower of Hearts" where the one with the highest tower of conversation hearts wins. I printed out some couple conversation questions and we didn't get thru them all but it was such a fun evening. It was nice having just us couples and enjoy a night without the kiddos. I can't wait to have them back and have the boys play together. One of the things that I took away from that night is that your truest friends know what dishes you have since they are the ones that jump in a help set the table.  Oh and another thing is that I could eat Stacy's Super Salad and Victoria's fruit salad day after day after day. So yummy.
