Yea! Easter fun mail.

The boys Easter packages came today. Lil B has figured it out that when a brown or white box comes it usually has really cool, fun, and new things that he can play with. I guess that I coud've waited till Easter to let them be opened but then I would've had to wait. It was after dinner and right before bed time Little Brian opened the box. Nothing like a tummy full of sugar right before bedtime. Please ignore the jelly bean mess on Lil B's chin.

The festivities following Easter dinner will include bunny bowling thanks to Aunt Lara. We will also be have a reading from the book My First Easter compliments of Grandma Anderson. Monday I should have the boys pictures posted in their handsome and dashing suits. Till then we'll be enjoying our girl scout cookies and Easter treats from Grandma Mitchell. Thanks so much!!

I've come down with a fever/sick bug late Saturday night. Brian has been an amazing Dad and Husband. He's been there to watch the boys so I could sleep it off. I'm feeling better today but it comes in waves. The weather is gorgeous outside and I'm not happy about missing it.

He's all over the place. He's here He's there. He's under the table? Lucas is one active little guy.

Saturday night I was doing a play by play in my mind of what happened 6 months ago. My Mom was in town. We didn't make it to the last October session of conference cuz Baby Lucas was born in the wee hours of the morning. It's incredible how fast the last 6 months flew by. We love having him in our family. More pictures of Lucas to come.

Our Marley

He's our Marley. I rented Marley and Me from the Redbox. A friend of mine told me how the movie ended so I knew what was coming. My Obiwan seems like an Angel compared to Marley. I'm grateful that Brian could see how lucky we are to have such a sweet well behaved dog. There's been times in the past when he chewed up a cell phone or two but overall he is as sweet and gentle as they come. Brian's always trying to find ways to get rid of the dogs. It's not going to happen. Little B has quite a special bond with them. I thought it was cool to see the parallels in the movie and in our life. Brian bought me Obiwan shortly after we got married so he's been part of the family from the very beginning.

Big Brian took pictures of this one. Lil B isn't thrilled about drinking water from a big boy cup. It's much cooler drinking it from a soda can. What ever works I guess.

The rain is really coming down. They had Dothan schools close early. We are doing okay. Just staying in and waiting the storm out.

My wonderful Sister in Law sent Lucas some teethers. He cant get enough of them. His teeth seem to be coming in in pairs. The top two are peeking through. He's a tough little guy. One of my favorite toys she picked out was a family tree in the shape of a palm tree with everyone's pictures. So fun.

We are having one of our Alabama thunder storms. I've got my movies, blankets, junk food, and my boys. Things are going pretty good over here. I love the sound of a good thunder storm. I hope the rain is long gone by Saturday cuz we have plans to head down to Florida. I found a baby swimming video on Youtube. It'll be in the next post. I hope everyone is staying safe and dry.
