flowers plants & dragon flies Part 1

We are back from our outing. The pictures are not rotating for some reason so these are the only ones that didn't need to be altered. B and I went to the Dothan Botanical Gardens. It was good to let Brian feel the grass between his toes (and fingers). He's always loved water. The above picture shows B making a break for it.

We're going to the park park park

We're going to the park park park
How 'bout you you you...
It goes with the melody of We're going to the Zoo Zoo Zoo how bout you you you.
I wonder if my sister is the only one that knows what I'm talking about. B and I are heading out while Dad sleeps. We are expecting rain later on in the week so it'll be good to get out while we can. I'll post pictures of our adventures later. Hope everyone else's day is going well.

Brian's 1st Balloon experience

Brian left the party with a balloon. He enjoyed it but was really ready for a nap. As you can see that it's perfect kite weather. It rained a little bit in the morning. Then the sun came out and it warmed up fast.

As you can now see that his balloon experience was short lived. The grass showed the balloon who's boss. *Don't worry Grandma A I watched him like a hawk with the balloon

Friday's play date/Kallie's B-day party

Andrea invited us to a play date/B-day party for Kallie (in pink with white polka dots). It feels like we just had her 1st Birthday a few months ago. Yeeesh. Time is flying. There was a great turn out. It was planned for the park but due to some rain it got moved to the gym at the church. We had such a great time visiting that I forgot about pictures. We ate and talked and laughed. Andrea supplied make your own kite kits. Sara and her girls and I stayed for that. I couldn't resist capturing Baby Issac's smile. He's adorable. He has two older sisters that love him to no end. It looks like we have another easy going -laid back baby on our hands. Brian and him will be the best of buds. The food spread was really good. They had little sandwiches, vegetables, fruit, chips, and birthday cupcakes. Great Job Andrea!!. I know that there was a lot of work put into it. I brought pineapple. I was worried that it would be overly ripe but everyone seemed to enjoy it. More people found out about the baby news and some of the looks that I get are hilarious. It's all good. We missed you Stacy and Baby Ammon. Brian came home with his 1st balloon. (next post)

I've been tagged

Stacy tagged me. I'm just trying to think of random facts that is interesting enough to read about. k so here we go...

1. My dream vacation: Show Brian the ol mission. Vancouver Canada and go on a Alaska cruise.

2. Did I collect anything growing up? teddy bears.

3. I got this from a survey on Hila's blog. Have I seen anyone pass away? Yes. Unfortunately. A few times.

4. My typical Friday & Saturday night plans before I got married. I'd hang out at coffee shops drinking my strawberry banana smoothie with no banana. Then we'd go play pool or go to the movies. Brian misses his white chocolate mocha.

5. Most memorable date? Brian's HS Prom. Afterwards it was off to the beach with a choc covered strawberry picnic, martinellis, and candles.

6. My weekend plans? Watching Conference.

7. Latest favorite saying? I saw it while blog stalking. It was something like "If your in this kitchen your family."

K lets see. I'll tag my lil sista and Heather.

California Dreamin

No pictures this time. I've just been trying to get a cheapo flight out to California in May. Jennette's graduating from USC , Mom's retiring, and Little B's 1 year B-day is in June. Whoopee. Time to celebrate. I've checked Southwest.com, airtran, cheap tickets, so far. I'd like to fly out of Dothan but that's almost $600 for just me and of course Lil B. I've made a list of pros and cons.

Pros for flying out of Dothan
-Brian doesn't have to take off work to drive me to the airport.
-Our car has been acting a little shady lately so I'll be able to breathe easier.
-Gas prices are insane

Cons for flying out of Dothan
It's more $$$
They have a bad rep for flight delays.

Ugh. I'll be fine once I get through this loop.

My loving understanding husband and ferocious guard dogs will be home just in case any stupid thieves even think about stopping by. ( We found out that the Ogden house was broken into not to long ago.). It made me so mad. Which reminds me of a kinda funny story. A long time ago we were living in Huntington Beach, CA and we had the disabled kids living with us at the time. I can't remember if it was Shari or Martha. Well, there was a robber that entered the house but they didn't get very far cuz they were scared off by one of the foster kids making noise in the middle of the night. We chuckle about it to this day. I'm sure my sister could tell you more funny stories cuz she remembers EVERYTHING.
