Don't leave Copas Family!!

We will miss you Copas Family!!
They are moving to Bountiful Utah in September so Sara (in the black top) and I threw a surprise potluck lunch.

There was a chance of rain but it turned out to be warm beautiful day. We some water balloon fun and cake and homemade ice cream. Janice came and she is so neat. She helped us find our house, found Sara their house, and is now helping Ashley sell theirs. She is a fantastic real estate agent and works hard in her field. Amanda just built her house and moved twice within so many months with 3 BOYS on top of it.

A cake that I made. It was fun to design each girl. Ashley was a pro ballet dancer and so it was fun to see Z match up who was who. Mark the husband is a star wars fan and gave the Brians Star Wars stuff galore and a travel carrying case full of Hot Wheels. That's another post.

We had a pink strawberry cake with pink lemonade.

I didn't get pictures of the water balloon action. I was too busy throwing and dodging balloons. I guess Ashley got Big Brian big time but I missed it. She felt bad afterwards. I'm glad someone got him cuz it felt good to cool off. Trent (Sara's husband) is outnumbered here. He and Brian were a huge help and did a great job supplying the water balloons.

We will miss our good friends. It'll be fun to go and visit them. Sweet Normandy is Lil B's best friend and first kiss. Good luck Copases. We love ya.

Hello Sippy cup

The pinky action makes me laugh.

He's got it down pretty well.

It looks like the fair Princess is saving the handsome Prince this time.

Happy teeth

I hope that he always feels this way about good hygiene. I finished feeding Lucas and walked in to discover that he helped himself to his tooth brush and tooth paste. Our Dentist would be proud. (I guess I have an cleaning appointment for me on Monday. -sigh) Last time I was in they wanted pictures of the boys to put up all the wall. I don't want to let them down.

Lil B's first split lip.

We went and barbecued with some friends who had gorgeous wood floors. I guess Lil B either slipped or threw himself on the floor (melt down) and split his bottom lip. I didn't take pictures cuz I draw the line with gory/bloody stuff. Maybe I'll take a picture of it tomorrow since it's in the healing stage. Big B said it didn't need stitches. The rest of the night he kept messing with the lip with his tongue. This was his first bloody lip and I know it wont be his last. Lil B cried for a few minutes but quickly got over it. He had a blast playing with a room full of toys.

After typing this it really isn't such a big deal. Now if he needed stitches THAT would've been a big deal. I hope that day never comes. Sad thing is that I know it will and I'll be a complete mess. I know they'll run, climb, jump, fall, slide, ride, etc. There will be accidents. It comes with being a boy. I get queasy just thinking about it. I just keep telling myself. We are less than a mile away from a hospital it'll be okay.

Besides the lip injury we had a great night. I was the only adult that didn't play the World of Warcraft so I didn't understand the lingo but I was totally okay with it.
We must've done something right cuz they invited us to go camping at the beach in October. Now if only I can talk B into going.

Seeing Andrea with her camera reminded me that I should grab mine. I've been horrible about bringing my camera with me. We invited Andrea and her boys to our play date at the pool. Little Brian was everywhere. He wanted to check things out and explore. Andrea was kind enough to hold Lucas while I chased Lil B down. Andreas boys are so good about smiling at the camera. B however was having one of those days. It was still a gorgeous day at the pool.
Big Brian went to the Dr yesterday to get a referral for a allergen specialist. Seems simple enough right?? Grr. I was so disappointed when he was sent home with a bunch of nasal prescriptions. Brian can't stand nasal sprays. He goes back in 8 weeks for a return check up. I just want him to get the shots every week cuz I heard they work. Brian's immune to all the other allergy meds cuz he's been taking them all his life. Hopefully this new stuff works.

No pictures this time but I just read somewhere that we have like 22 more weeks till Christmas. Woo Hoo. I better get cracking. I'm one to try and put a lot of thought in gifts. I keep an eye out and an ear open to the little things that are mentioned. It looks like we'll have a Texan Christmas this year at my In Laws new house. It'll be neat. There will be plenty of cookie baking with Grandma. Now I'm debating if I bring out the decorations or not. I have awhile to decide.

Nothing much going on here. Tomorrow Big Brian goes to the Dr to get a referral for an allergen specialist. Wednesday we have swim date. I'll try and get pictures of that posted later that day.

I'm so stoked cuz one of my projects is up and going. I have some crocheted last names that need to be framed. I have enlisted the help of a very kind couple from my ward that have a miter saw (sp?) I have several projects in the works. ( I spy quilt, Disney scrapbook, Family pictures, etc. It'll all get done. If the name frames turn out to be simple I might go crazy and frame the family pictures the same way. We will see.
