Thanks Amber!

This was given to me by an amazing Mom. Amber has 4 beautiful
Quads. You can check out her cutie pies at the Demaria's blog on the side bar. Thanks so much Amber! Your a sweetheart.
Rules are to share 7 things about yourself and then nominate 5 other Beautiful bloggers. (this one was a tough one because surely there are more than 5 that are worth nominating) I wanted to nominate..
1. Happy Thomas family (they are in the process of moving so they are not able to post as often as she'd like)
2. Kristy in AL- My Mom even commented how much she's enjoyed reading her blog.
3. Jennette (also known as Rapper J, she works hard, plays hard, serves our country and keeps me laughing.)
4. Grams cookie jar (a proud Grandma and adjusting well to the life of retirement in Texas)
5. Hila (She is so consistent with keeping up with her blog. She's great)
Enjoy Ladies.
So 7 things about me..
1. I have learned that I'm neither a morning person or night person. I'm a sleep person.
2. Ice cream is my weakness.
3. I've got a 3rd baby boy on the way with 3 fantastic dogs living in a 3 bedroom house.
4. I love my minivan.
5. I'm a huge fan of facebook but doesn't care for the mafia wars, farmsville, or other aps.
6. Is totally content with not having a landline for the phone.
7. Is seriously thinking about getting rid of cable tv. I lived without for at least 20 years. I couldn't live without the internet. That's a must have.

I love spreading the love on Valentines Day and one way I do that is thru sugar, flour, baking soda, etc etc. I tried a few new recipes. I'm still craving the cinnamon rolls so I'll whip those up once I get my baking mojo back. The cinnamon rolls didn't work cuz I was missing an ingredient. I turned to my trusty recipe websites and found not one but two Cinnamon roll cookie recipes. I learned so much when making the sugary sweet concoction. I learned the sugar cookie dough is no where close to regular bread dough. It was a messy nightmare. I still have half a batch of dough in the fridge. I was running behind on time so I had Big B whip up the cream cheese frosting. It probably looked more appetizing with the frosting. Somehow I manage to scrounge together some of the most decent looking cookie pieces (they didn't come off the wax paper without a fight). The 2nd cookie was a breeze compared to the first. It was an oatmeal kiss cookie that I found on the Hershey chocolate website. Although both were really yummy neither cookie looked like the picture from the website.
I really hope everyone had a great long Holiday weekend.

I'm so grateful that there was a 2nd big snow fall so I could let the boys go out and play in the snow. The 1st round of snow was watched thru the window and Lucas went down for a nap shortly afterwards. The snow quickly turned to rain.
I got lucky and the 2nd snow fall came. Of course I could only find one mitten for Lucas. -My Sister would probably break out the Kitten Mitten rhyme. Naughty Kitten you've lost your Mitten... k Anywaaaays.
The boys had an awesome time running up and down the walkway and driveway. Little B shouting "Snow, Snow!!" We came in when Lucas's nose and fingers were pink. Little B hated the idea of coming back inside to a nice warm house and had the mother of all temper tantrums. My poor neighbors.

Wrestling.
Yup.
It's only the beginning.
I guess I need to get used to it.

Little B loves working in the kitchen with his Dad. He'll drag the chair over and jump right in. A few weeks ago he helped Dad bake a cake and tonight he was seasoning the hamburgers for dinner. Now if only I can get him excited about cleaning up afterwards.

I love the month of February. Unfortunately it started off on a sour note with everyone sick. Thankfully I have an amazing Mother In Law that sent the boys a fantastic valentines package. It was full of yummy goodies, Pixar car toys, and a book for bedtime.

LB was so excited that his card had a dog on it. It's the small things I guess. Big B and I were not forgotten. We were given our own candy stash in which I will enjoy once I'm feeling normal again. Thanks Grandma Mitchell

Just wanted to drop in and say that we are not avoiding the blog. The uninvited visitor Mr Stomach virus has come to our house and it hit everyone. Little B had it first and then Brian had Lucas got it at the same time. Now I've got it. So-o not fun. I'm disinfecting every time I get an ounce of energy. Brian's feeling better besides having really sore rib muscles. After missing 2 and a 1/2 days of work he'll be going back tomorrow. I'm extremely grateful for Priesthood blessings. I know it's made a difference.

Update: Brian checks in on me every once in a while. The boys are feeling much better. Playhouse Disney and Sesame Street are life savers and lets Mom crash on the couch. The nurse said that a stomach bug was going around. I'm hoping that this is it and doesn't show itself again.
